Founded in 1953 by Milton Somberg, ROTHCO began as a 2,500 square foot loft in the East Side of Manhattan. The business grew considerably over the years and upgraded to larger locations, but Milton and his son Howard retained family ownership.
In June of 2001, ROTHCO moved from our old location in Long Island to our new expanded warehouse in Ronkonkoma,
NY, doubling our previous warehouse space to 120,000 square feet. With our new larger facility, ROTHCO can carry and stock even more items than before, allowing us to expand product lines and stock larger quantities so your orders ship faster. We are located in close proximity to Islip-MacArthur Airport, so our overseas shipping is now faster than ever.
