Product FAQ & Insights
BackRip-stop fabric is a woven material designed to be resistant to tearing and ripping. It’s created using a special reinforced grid pattern of thicker threads that stop small tears from spreading. This makes it a preferred fabric for military uniforms, tactical gear, camping equipment, and outdoor apparel. Rip-stop fabrics are often made from nylon, cotton, or polyester blends, combining lightweight comfort with exceptional durability. The distinctive crosshatch pattern is both a mark of quality and a key feature for long-lasting performance in rugged environments.
Many of Rothco's uniform pants and shirts are available in a rip-stop material including our popular BDU Rip-Stop pants and Rip-Stop Fatigue Shirt.
