ROTHCO ANNOUNCES $24,000 DONATION TO ANSWER THE CALL – NEW YORK POLICE AND FIRE WIDOWS’ AND CHILDREN’S BENEFIT FUND
Ronkonkoma, New York, November 21, 2018 - Rothco, a division of Morris Rothenberg & Son, Inc. is proud to announce that a donation of over $24,000 has been given to the organization Answer The Call also known as The New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund. Answer The Call is dedicated to providing financial assistance and a network of support to the families of New York City First Responders (NYPD Officers, PAPD Officers, FDNY Firefighters, and FDNY EMS Workers) who have been killed in the line of duty, many of whom were 9/11 responders.

Rothco was able to make such a sizable donation to The New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund by donating net proceeds from the sale of their Thin Blue/Thin Red/Thin Green Line merchandise from October 1st, 2017 – October 1st, 2018. The money raised will provide financial support to the families, which will allow them to pay bills, necessary house repairs, medical bills, special activities or trips to keep the memory of their loved one alive, school supplies, college tuition and so much more.
