Purchased this vest a few years ago now. I use it at the range, dog training and for training weekly. I use soft and AR plates in the chest rig and so far no signs of wear and tear. I am 5' and 130 lbs, the regular shrinks up enough to fit well even with my duty belt and holster. The cut is perfect for finding the pocket with my riffle and is comfortable during maneuvers. Price point is a big bonus.

Not a bad carrier all and all. The plate pockets will accommodate a Large size ESAPI but it is a very tight fit. This is unfortunate due to the fact I wanted to run the vest mainly w/o my plates until such time I could quickly insert them. It would take way to much time to insert the plates in an emergency situation. Ill still wear it until I get smoked on a foot pursuit. Also, the pistol mag pouches that are incorporated inside the "admin" pouch lack the retention feature the AR pouches have. They do have 3 one inch elastic separators to hold the mags in place but noting to keep them from falling out of the top of the carrier.

Purchased this carrier from another vender. I'm active in volunteer EMS and needed this to piece together an Active Shooter Kit that could be thrown on very quickly, have shoulder straps that didn't interfere with wearing a slim medic pack, and be stored in a medium size pack until needed. Plate pouches are 10x13.5 in, so I had to make a set of spacers to fit my 10x12 plates. Also cut a few thin strips of Neoprene to pad the shoulders. I use the built in mag pouches to hold tourniquets and mounted a medic pouch on the webbing, the built in admin pouch on top to carry a multi tool, small flashlight, marker, and waterproof pad. Isn't a bad carrier too if you're into airsoft.
