Rothco's Venturer Survivor Shoulder Bag features a heavyweight Canvas outer and water repellent Nylon interior, a heavy duty adjustable canvas strap and GI latching buckle. The bag also features 2 internal compartments with 4 additional organizational pockets, a rear pocket, side phone pouch and 4 flip up front pouches. The bag measures 10" x 11" x 5" with a 54" fully extended shoulder strap.
Bought this bag just shy of a year ago and love it. Not too big, but it's not tiny either. It holds everything I need to have with me on a daily basis. The canvas part has held up very well so far. I cannot, however, say the same for the liner and the dividers (which are made from the same material). The bottom of the dividers has pulled apart from the stitching, effectively making one large compartment rather than two inside ones and an outer back pocket as items can move under the dividers now. The liner is also pulling away and fraying along the the stitching that connects it to the top rim of the canvas. If not for the liner/divider issues this would be the perfect bag.
Just bought one yesterday....I absolutely love it! Very study bag (I have a feeling this one is going to last for quite a few years), just the the right size and very functional. It holds all of my "essentials" (wallet, phone, water bottle, etc.), with more than enough room to hold quite a few extras. One of the pockets is just the right size to hold my iPad, and there's space to hold a couple of small textbooks as well. I could probably even throw my umbrella in there in the wintertime. I don't think I could ask for a better bag. Can't wait to use this for school.... :)
